Welcome to everyone new here!
This is my weekly recap, where I share what I've been working on in AI and behind the scenes of my business.
Let’s dive in.
1. Giving my Grok Bots more autonomy
I'm still using Grok Bot heavily. It's taking over more and more of my tasks, and I'm trying to give my bots more autonomy so they can do more with less guidance.
Since adopting Grok Bot, I've definitely felt another big surge in productivity compared to the Claude Code era.
Here are a few things I've been setting up:
X bookmarks: a bot that syncs my bookmarks daily and turns them into a searchable knowledge base.
A Command Center dashboard: my bots got so busy that I started losing track of what was done. This helps.
A YouTube channel watcher: a daily inspiration digest with thumbnails, titles, links, and scores to spot outlier videos.
A Grok Bot bridge: lets ChatGPT, Claude Code, or another agent send tasks to my Grok Bot.
Picking the model through Cursor projects: how I tell my bots to use a specific model for a task (since Grok Bot doesn’t let you pick the model). I use this method for coding with specific models also.
And here's this week's video. In it, I also answer the question of whether you should switch to Grok Bot:
I've also hit 30k subscribers on YouTube now! 🚀
My big focus for this year and next year is still going to be mainly X and YouTube. I think this is where most of the value is for me as a content creator.
2. Updated FrameJam
I made a couple of updates to FrameJam over the weekend.
Here's what's new in v0.6.0:
Transcripts under the timeline and in the sidebar to make editing easier.
A playback speed selector.
Full-screen playback and editing.
Playbooks and styles that update on their own, without needing a new release.
3 new playbooks: Editorial Reel, Anchor & Overlay, and Whiteboard Reel.
And I think other people trying it are starting to see that it's a really useful product, so I'm happy to see that.
I'm still mainly building this tool for myself. I'm using it heavily in my own content production and letting anyone else who wants to use it use it. Right now, it's completely free.
I don't have any concrete plans for monetization yet. I think it's pretty hard in the SaaS space right now to build something durable and monetizable, but I have a few ideas I'll try out eventually.
For now, I'm focused on building something useful for me and for other people.
3. Digging into AI and biotech
One thing that came up this week was more news about AI labs acquiring bio labs and getting further into biotech.
I find that super interesting.
I put together a timeline of what's been happening in the AI bio wars here.
I plan to cover more of this in the future, just because I find it really interesting and I'm digging into it more and more.
I think the use of AI in bio and the topic of longevity will become super hot topics in the next few years.
A little life update
I met up with Jérémy Grandillon yesterday, a fellow AI content creator on Linkedin.
We talked about the future of content, AI, and what's ahead.
Around 3 years ago, we both decided to pick up our phones and start posting about things we found interesting. I'm thankful we did.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Moritz
