I just saw this old YouTube video in my watch history.
Anyone remember this?
A little over one year ago this was the hottest shit. Everybody was building n8n workflows. They would go absolutely viral on YouTube and X.
Now it's totally outdated. And this just shows you how fast things are moving.
If you don't know, n8n is basically a drag-and-drop software you can build automations in.
But now it's totally useless.
If I wanted to automate something and I built it in n8n, it would take me maybe two or three hours. I would need to open up a UI that's not straightforward to navigate, I would need to create nodes one by one, I would need to program those nodes and I would need to hook up the tools.
With Claude the same thing takes me literally two minutes to do.
Because AI's capability has gotten so good that you now basically just describe what you want automated in plain English.
And then you just schedule that as a task to run. Even if it's something complex, you just describe it and Claude will go ahead and write the code that is needed.
Now there are a couple of tips and tricks for how exactly to architect that and what tools you can use to actually put this live, but they're not rocket science. Once you have the basics down, you can create one automation after another, and automate your business piece by piece.
And Claude recently even released a feature where you just record your screen doing a task and it will automatically turn that into an automation for you.
So this is where things are going. The future is honestly going to be magical.
