Hey guys,
I really love doing these weekly recaps because they give me a chance to look back at my week. Every time, I realize how much has happened, how fast AI is moving, and how much I got done.
So here's everything I've been working on this week, in case you missed it.
1. Created several Jev apps and automations
Last week, Jev was the hottest topic. My video from last week got over 70k views, which is the first time one of my videos has hit that.
This week, I continued playing around with Jev, especially thinking about how I can actually use it to build apps and automations.
I came up with 5 use cases that I think are perfect for Jev and would make great apps to build and sell to other businesses.
And I made a YouTube video about it:
2. All the Opus 5.5 experiments
And then Opus came out…
There's really no way to catch a breath in AI. (Btw, get ready, because next week is OpenAI DevDay and I expect a lot of crazy releases.)
Within a day of Opus coming out, people had discovered that it was really good at creating motion graphics videos.
So I tried it out, and it really was incredible.
I think it was the first time I had to get up from my desk and just walk around for a bit while trying out a tool because I got too excited 😄
I posted all of the experiments and videos I created on Twitter, but I also made a YouTube video that summarizes them.
I was also really pleased that day because my goal now is to make 2 YouTube videos per week. I feel like I'm getting better at it and can make these videos faster.
I think I managed to do everything for this one (the research, preparation, filming, editing, and posting) in under 4 hours.
3. Used my proposal skill after a sales call
I had 2 discovery calls for my agency this week, and my automatic proposal generator skill really came in handy.
Right after the sales call, it fetched all the meeting notes from Fathom, generated the proposal, and got it ready for me to send to the potential client.
Btw, I've now put all of my skills into my Skool community, ready for you to copy and paste into your business.
I also came across this, which I found interesting:
Only 3% of US consumers are paying for AI. We are still incredibly early guys.
A little life update
This one really hit hard when I saw it. My son is 3.5 now, and time is passing by so quickly.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Moritz
