Claude Opus 5 came out a few days ago, and people are already doing crazy things with it.

This guy one-shotted a game. He entered one prompt, and a few hours later the new Opus 5 model had built him an entire first person shooter game.

And I get it.

For most people this probably isn't big news anymore. It does feel like it's always the same, right? The model gets better, it gets cheaper to use, and each one has its own quirks of where it's good and where it's bad.

But I thought about this, and here's what I concluded.

There's a reason new models are exciting for some people and not so much for others.

If you haven't yet found a meaningful way to integrate AI into your work, it won't really have an impact on you, whether you're using the latest model or the one from a year ago.

And for the vast majority of people, that's exactly how they're using AI…

Just chatting with ChatGPT or Claude in the normal chat mode.

Of course they won't notice a difference in their lives just because a new model came out.

But the people getting excited for each model release are doing something different.

They have their AI so deeply integrated into the way they work that they notice a huge difference.

These are the people running a proper AI operating system.

With my AI operating system, when a model gets better, everything I do gets better as well.

The content I make, the workflows I run, the tasks I get done throughout the day.

And that's not all.

Because the people who actually run this, get a much better feel for how work is going to look like in the future.

It's going to be AI agents doing the work for you. There’s no doubt about it. You're the orchestrator, supervising the output and directing where it goes, while an insane amount of work gets done for you every day.

What we're seeing today is just a glimpse of that. It will get exponentially more intense.

If I think about just one year ago, how slow I was, how little I got done, how much manual work I still had to do every day, it's just incomparable to today.
