Before I went on vacation, I set up Grok Bot and just let it run. During my vacation I occasionally checked in to see how it was doing.

So I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I've actually grown to like it a lot.

The best thing about it is how easy it is to set up routines, which are basically automations.

In Claude or ChatGPT, setting up a routine always meant first deciding if it would run locally or in the cloud, configuring the connections, and if it’s a cloud routine it wouldn't have its own computer which are needed for some automations.

And don't even get me started on n8n or Make. That just feels like a totally outdated way to set up automations now.

But in Grok Bot it's super easy. You just say what routine you want and it will be set up entirely for you. They all run in the cloud, which in my opinion is the natural way it should be done, and they have access to all your connected tools and even their own computer.

So this makes Grok Bot pretty much the best tool to set up all of your automations.

So i thought I'd write up the 8 most useful Grok Bot routines I'm running to automate my business (I share them all in my new video as well).

Here they are:

1. YouTube competitor analysis

Every day, this routine scans a curated list of YouTube channels for new long-form videos. It collects their titles, thumbnails, links, and performance compared to each channel’s usual baseline, then organizes everything in Notion.

2. Audience tracker

This routine pulls the latest follower, subscriber, and view counts from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, my newsletter, and Skool. It adds the numbers to a Google Sheet so I can see how my total audience changes over time.

3. Daily tweet ideas

This routine reads my time-tracking log and suggests posts based on what I’ve actually worked on that day. It turns real projects, problems, and experiments into timely content ideas.

4. Sales call analysis

Every morning, this routine reviews the previous day’s sales calls from their transcripts. It scores the calls against my sales framework, highlights what went well, identifies missed opportunities, and extracts the most important action items.

5. Prospect research

Before a sales call, this routine checks my calendar, identifies the prospect, and researches their business. It produces a short briefing covering who they are, why the call is happening, whether they’re a likely fit, and which questions I should ask.

6. Bot team stand-up

Each morning, my bots share what they’re working on, their priorities, and anything blocking them. The routine gives me a quick overview of the entire bot team and saves the stand-up in Notion.

7. Nightly improvement

At the end of the day, this routine reviews the bot’s memory, files, and activity logs for anything that could be improved. It handles small fixes such as cleaning up outdated notes, correcting mistakes, and improving how information is organized.

8. Weekly time-tracking analysis

Once a week, this routine reviews everything I tracked and shows me where my time went. It breaks down the hours spent on areas such as YouTube, short-form content, community, and client work, helping me decide what to change the following week.

If you run a marketing-heavy and sales-heavy business like me, I'm sure these routines will help you.

Of course, you can take them as inspiration and modify them however you like.

I've added the exact routine prompts to my Skool community as well, if you'd like to copy-paste them:

Have a great rest of the week,
Moritz
